A Possible Setback

Please join us in prayer on this issue: We received a call from Jason's pulmonologist this morning. Apparently, the surgeon wants the pulmonologist to sign off on the surgery stating that Jason is stable enough to have the procedure. This is the first we have heard of this issue. Today, the pulmonologist's office called the surgeon and told them that they did not want to approve it because Jason has not had a recent breathing test in their office (even though they have had a fax on this issue since last Thursday!!!). He was scheduled to have one a few weeks ago, but we had to cancel it because he was in the hospital at that time. We were asked if he could come in this afternoon to do a breathing test, but Jason has already begun his prep for the surgery, so it would be difficult to impossible for him to leave the house. Our prayer is that this can be worked out and will not cause the surgery to be delayed. As of last Thursday, the surgeon's next available date was Feb 13th. It is probably even later than that now.
